Welcome to Wifi QR. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of wifiqr.net, including the Wi-Fi QR code generator, website, content, features, and related services provided by Wifi QR ("Wifi QR," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using Wifi QR, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the service.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of Wifi QR, whether or not you create an account or use every feature available on the website.

1. Description of the Service

Wifi QR provides an online tool that allows users to generate QR codes containing information used to connect compatible devices to Wi-Fi networks. The service may also provide features for customizing, downloading, displaying, or otherwise using generated QR codes.

Wifi QR may add, modify, suspend, restrict, or remove features from time to time. We reserve the right to change the service at our discretion without guaranteeing that any particular feature will remain available.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Wifi QR is provided as a general-purpose utility and is not designed to manage, monitor, secure, administer, or troubleshoot your Wi-Fi network.

2. Eligibility

You may use Wifi QR only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.

If you use Wifi QR on behalf of a company, organization, business, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" includes both you and the entity you represent.

3. Your Responsibility for Information You Enter

You are solely responsible for the information you enter into Wifi QR and for ensuring that you have the legal right and authorization to use that information.

You must not use Wifi QR to create a QR code containing Wi-Fi credentials, network information, or other data that you are not authorized to access, use, reproduce, distribute, or disclose.

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information you enter before creating or sharing a QR code. Wifi QR does not independently verify whether a Wi-Fi network exists, whether the credentials are correct, whether you own the network, or whether you are authorized to share it.

If you enter an incorrect Wi-Fi password, network name, or security type, the resulting QR code may not work. Wifi QR is not responsible for errors resulting from information supplied by you.

4. Wi-Fi Credentials and QR Codes

A Wi-Fi QR code may contain sensitive information, including a Wi-Fi network name and password. Anyone who obtains the QR code may potentially be able to access the information encoded in it.

You are solely responsible for deciding where to display, publish, download, print, distribute, or otherwise share a QR code created using Wifi QR.

Wifi QR does not control who may scan a QR code after you have downloaded, printed, displayed, or shared it. You should treat a Wi-Fi QR code as sensitive information and take appropriate precautions when distributing it.

If you believe that a Wi-Fi QR code has been exposed to an unauthorized person, you should take appropriate action, such as changing the Wi-Fi password or network configuration.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Wifi QR only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the service in a manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, or the rights of others.

You must not use Wifi QR to:

• create or distribute QR codes containing Wi-Fi credentials that you are not authorized to use or disclose;
• facilitate unauthorized access to computer systems, networks, devices, accounts, or services;
• facilitate hacking, credential theft, phishing, fraud, malware distribution, or other malicious activity;
• impersonate another person, organization, business, or service;
• distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or otherwise harmful;
• infringe or misappropriate another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, servers, networks, or infrastructure supporting Wifi QR;
• use automated systems, bots, scripts, crawlers, or other methods to abuse, scrape, overload, or circumvent reasonable technical restrictions of the service;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code from portions of the service except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• circumvent security measures, rate limits, access controls, or other protections used by Wifi QR;
• use the service in a manner that could reasonably be expected to harm Wifi QR, its infrastructure, its users, or third parties; or
• use Wifi QR to facilitate any activity that is illegal or prohibited under applicable law.

6. No Guarantee of Network Access

Wifi QR generates QR codes containing information intended to assist compatible devices in connecting to Wi-Fi networks. Wifi QR does not operate, control, maintain, or provide the underlying Wi-Fi network.

We do not guarantee that a generated QR code will successfully connect every device to every Wi-Fi network. Compatibility may depend on the device, operating system, QR scanner, Wi-Fi hardware, network configuration, security protocol, browser, or other factors outside our control.

Wifi QR is not responsible for network outages, router failures, incorrect credentials, incompatible devices, configuration errors, interference, internet service failures, or other problems affecting your Wi-Fi connection.

7. Free Service

Wifi QR currently provides its core QR generation functionality free of charge.

We reserve the right to introduce paid features, advertising, subscriptions, usage limits, optional services, or other monetization methods in the future. Any applicable fees or material changes to paid services will be presented before you are required to pay for them.

The availability of free access today does not create a contractual obligation for Wifi QR to provide the service free of charge indefinitely.

8. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Wifi QR available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times or without interruption, delay, errors, or defects.

The service may become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, infrastructure problems, security incidents, network failures, third-party services, events beyond our reasonable control, or other circumstances.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, or permanently shut down all or part of Wifi QR at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

9. Third-Party Services

Wifi QR may rely on third-party providers for hosting, infrastructure, content delivery, security, analytics, communications, advertising, or other services.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Wifi QR does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, functionality, security, content, policies, or actions.

If you interact with a third-party service through or in connection with Wifi QR, you may be subject to that third party's separate terms and policies.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Wifi QR and its original content, design, branding, software, user interface, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, service names, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Wifi QR and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of any Wifi QR intellectual property. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, publish, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service or its protected materials.

"Wifi QR" and related branding may not be used in a way that suggests an unauthorized affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership with Wifi QR.

11. Your QR Codes and User-Generated Content

You retain responsibility for QR codes and other content or information that you create using Wifi QR.

You represent and warrant that your use of the service and the content you create does not violate applicable law or the rights of any third party.

Wifi QR does not claim ownership of the Wi-Fi information you provide or the underlying network to which that information relates. However, the software, interface, technology, and service used to generate a QR code remain subject to Wifi QR's intellectual property rights and these Terms.

12. Privacy

Your use of Wifi QR is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be processed in connection with the service.

Wifi QR is designed so that Wi-Fi credentials entered into the QR generator can be processed locally in your browser and are not intentionally transmitted to or stored on our servers as part of the normal QR generation process.

This does not mean that no technical information is processed when you access the website. Internet infrastructure, hosting providers, security services, analytics services, browsers, and other systems may process technical information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WIFI QR IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WIFI QR DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY QR CODE GENERATED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL WORK WITH ANY PARTICULAR DEVICE, OPERATING SYSTEM, QR SCANNER, ROUTER, NETWORK, OR WI-FI CONFIGURATION.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS ANY WARRANTY OR RIGHT THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WIFI QR AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, LICENSORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES ARISING FROM NETWORK ACCESS PROBLEMS, INCORRECT OR EXPOSED WI-FI CREDENTIALS, QR CODE ERRORS, DEVICE INCOMPATIBILITY, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, SECURITY INCIDENTS, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF WIFI QR FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO WIFI QR FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

The limitations in this section apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some provisions may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wifi QR and its owners, operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, contractors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

• your use or misuse of Wifi QR;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable law;
• your violation of the rights of another person or entity;
• Wi-Fi credentials or other information you submit, create, publish, or distribute;
• your unauthorized access to or disclosure of a Wi-Fi network or its credentials; or
• any claim that content or information supplied by you infringes, violates, or misappropriates the rights of another person or entity.

16. Security and Abuse Prevention

You must not attempt to compromise the security, integrity, availability, or performance of Wifi QR or its supporting infrastructure.

We may use reasonable technical measures to detect and prevent abuse, automated attacks, excessive requests, fraud, unauthorized access, malicious activity, or other behavior that could harm the service or its users.

We may limit, block, suspend, or terminate access to the service when we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to protect Wifi QR, its infrastructure, its users, or third parties, or to comply with applicable law.

17. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Wifi QR at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Wifi QR, restrict functionality, or take other appropriate action if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others, or if such action is necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal, operational, or other legitimate reasons.

We may also discontinue the service entirely at any time, subject to applicable law.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law.

18. DMCA and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe that content associated with Wifi QR infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may contact us through the Contact page with sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material and the basis for your claim.

Where applicable, Wifi QR may take reasonable action in response to valid intellectual property complaints, including removing or restricting access to relevant material.

19. No Professional Advice

Information provided through Wifi QR is for general informational and utility purposes only. Wifi QR does not provide legal, cybersecurity, telecommunications, network administration, or other professional advice.

You are responsible for determining whether a particular use of the service is appropriate for your circumstances and for obtaining professional advice where necessary.

20. Force Majeure

Wifi QR will not be responsible for delays, interruptions, failures, or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, telecommunications failures, internet outages, infrastructure failures, cybersecurity incidents, labor disputes, power failures, or failures of third-party providers.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes may be made to reflect changes in the service, technology, business practices, applicable law, security requirements, or other circumstances.

When we update these Terms, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by applicable law.

Your continued use of Wifi QR after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the legal relationship between you and Wifi QR, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable mandatory law provides otherwise.

Nothing in this section is intended to deprive consumers of mandatory protections or rights provided by the laws of their country, state, or other applicable jurisdiction.

23. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with Wifi QR, we encourage you to contact us first through the Contact page and provide a description of the issue so that we can attempt to resolve it informally.

Where permitted by applicable law, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by the courts or other dispute-resolution mechanism having appropriate jurisdiction over the matter.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights or bringing claims that applicable consumer protection law expressly allows you to bring in your local jurisdiction.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

25. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Wifi QR concerning your use of the service, except where additional terms expressly apply to a particular feature or service.
